Private Health Funds
All private health fund patients are serviced by the providers at CI therapy Australia.
Each Fund returns different amounts for each service with caps usually applied. Some funds have introduced the ability for you to determine which services you want to spend your funding on such as AHM http://www.ahm.com.au/health-insurance/classic-hospital-coverOther funds have different amounts you can claim – so check this out with your fund.
This funding is provided by the Commonwealth for clients with cerebral palsy or paediatric stroke, and is available until the child turns 7 years old or until the funding runs out.
We provide Constraint Induced Therapy for eligible children under Better Start Funding.We can also provide intensive bi-manual therapy programmes, individual assessments and individual treatments under this programme. See the link for more information about Better Start Programme.
Grants
Certain clients can apply to Brain Injury NSW for a grant of up to $2,500 for rehabilitation equipment and programmes.Following assessment we can assist in making an application for a grant. See link for further information.

NDIS

We are a registered NDIS provider for clients under 65 years of age.The focus of the NDIS is to provide support to disabled people in order to promote lifelong care and independence for families and persons with disability.
The aim is to ensure they are able to participate in work education and leisure activities.
CITherapy is able to assist with many items covered by the NDIS including specialised equipment for home, school or work such as ramps, lifts, stair climbers, desks, posture chairs for children, etc. We can assist with individual care plans and training for carers and family to improve or maintain independence of the person with disability.

Life Time Care And Support
This is a treatment, care and rehabilitation programme for people injured in a motor vehicle accident in NSW after 2007 and covers both adults and children.
At CI Therapy Australia we offer a range of services to Life Time Care participants from everyday living assessments to comprehensive rehabilitation programmes for improving activities of daily living,mobility, initiation of activities, problem solving, finance management, and the training of care assistants in delivery of programmes.
In addition, we can deliver intensive Upper Limb Constraint Training to those who need refinement of arm and hand function for eating, dressing, driving, etc. Please speak to us about: individual goals, programmes and the great outcomes we have had for clients.
