Phillip Fay was the first therapist in Australia to Train in Constraint Induced Therapy at the University Of Alabama Birmingham USA in 2009 .
This training is based on the research work of the CI Therapy Research Group at the Taub Clinic run from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, USA and the ground breaking work of Professor Edward Taub.
The Constraint Induced Therapy was referred to in book The Brain That Changes Itself by Dr Norman Doidge.
Constraint Induced Movement Therapy Australia (CI Therapy Programme) is run by Mr Phillip Fay, Occupational Therapist, who was trained at the University of Alabama in USA in 2009 .The first and one of only a few in Australia to have completed this TRAINING In Alabama .
